Acceditations
We are RISQS-accredited to supply CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme), OTP (on-track plant) operatives, Machine Controllers and Crane Controllers.
Being able to call upon one supplier such as Global that can deliver a variety of key roles not only reduces the risk of errors but significantly reduces downtime between shift changeovers, thus maximising shift productivity.
In addition, Global is working closely with the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS), which aims to promote best practice in fleet operations. The business is now accredited to supply FORS silver HGV and road sweeper drivers, helping its clients to ensure that they comply with the standards expected on major projects such as HS2.
Upskilling
Global also manages an on-going programme to upskill its existing drivers and operators within its supply chain for example it offers FORS-Accredited Safe Urban Driver (SUD) and Lo-City Driving courses. Programmes also exist to upskill operators in the competencies of CPCS and Sentinel e.g. NVQ awards. This value-added service helps clients to raise standards and work towards and uphold their own FORS accreditations.
