GLS Coatings Ltd specialise in the development and application of Protective Coatings for a wide range of sectors, including Rail, Off-shore, Chemical, Utilities, Food Production and Local Authority housing.
Our latest development is our GLS100R® which insulates up to 35,000 Volts and is being used throughout the UK Rail Network to prevent flash-overs and touch-potential issues – and as a solution to low clearance bridges on electrified lines.
We only employ our OWN fully Accredited Technicians who know the coating business inside-out and bring their extensive expertise to every job we undertake.

GLS Specialist Protective Coatings – applied by our Accredited, PTS-trained Technicians – provide the complete solution to coat and protect the whole range of rail infrastructure.
Concrete structures can be coated to preserve and protect them; GLS Coatings are resistant to a wide range of chemicals and are used to coat diesel bunds for Network Rail. GLS Coatings are particularly effective against hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and sulphuric acid (H2SO4) which affects the calcium carbonate constituents of concrete, and a wide range of chemicals and can halt the effects of concrete cancer.
Our roof coatings can be used to fully encapsulate asbestos, without disturbing it. This removes the need for a costly new roof, while fully complying with Building Regulations.
And GLS100R® is independently tested to be an electrical insulating coating of up to 35,000 Volts and our coating is anti-graffiti and anti-static, making it the ONLY choice for coating steelwork and removing touch potential.
