Q RAIL NDT – with offices, workshops, NDT training facilities, test track and laboratories in south East England – is the core of Quantum Group of companies. Our rapid response team of highly trained and qualified engineers serve variety of industries, mainly railways for complete railway’s compliance standards. The company performs majority of our NDT services mostly for passenger trains, freight and cargo trains, On Track Machineries (OTMs), On Track Plants (OTPs), metro, Tramways, etc.
Quantum NDT & Inspection provides services for non-rail industries; mainly Piping, Pressure Vessel (PSSR) and Structural weld Inspections (UT, ET & others per ASME & BS EN, ISO- standards).
All companies are supervised and monitored by a charted NDT LIII engineer as per ISO 9712 & ASNT/ASNI/CP189.
Quantum Rail provides NDT training and certification in accordance with SNT-TC-1A and a specific company written practice.
How we work
Since the establishment of our group of companies, and over the past several years, Quantum has provided NDT, welding engineering and material integrity services to an array of industries. Through years of experience we have excelled our reliability, accuracy and the efficiency by which we conduct our business.
Speed in provision of our inspection techniques and processes and the achievement of these capabilities have come about by keeping our competencies, tools and facilities abreast with the latest technologies and establishing required quality management system and governance in compliance with applicable standards. Most importantly the conduct of our operations and delivery of services are under the supervision of a chartered NDT Level III technical director.
In the field of Asset Management our inspection data have helped in risk-informed condition assessment and optimized risk-based maintenance planning.
