Vextrix

0845 371 1317

Vextrix was founded by Phil Marsden and John Williamson back in 2009, when the vision for the company was formed out of a desire to simply do things differently.

This is us! Vextrix provides project management, quantity surveying, engineering design and health and safety consultancy, professional services to the built environment.

In an often complex and stressful environment of delivering construction projects, the team has been developed to give our clients control, certainty and a quiet mind.

We believe the way we work can help to reduce stress, trouble and worry by bringing calm and control through our delivery.

We take pride in what we do, deliver with professionalism and passion and provide an industry-leading customer experience.

With three offices across the UK in Liverpool, Manchester and London, we’re able to deliver national projects from a local base.

Our company values were developed by our team and they are what shape the way we work day to day as a team and also how we deliver our professional services for our clients’ projects.

TRANSPENNINE EXPRESS

We are currently working with TransPennine Express to provide Quantity Surveying and Principal Designer Services on their £1.4m refurbishment programme at 5 stations. These include Hull, Dewsbury, Manchester Airport, Malton, Scarborough, and Huddersfield with four out of the six stations being listed buildings.

The refurbishment includes WC’s, ticket offices, customer facilities and Changing Places. Standard accessible toilets do not meet the needs of all people with a disability. Extra equipment and space is needed for those people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, as well people with other physical disabilities such as spinal injuries, muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis. This allows them to use the toilets safely and comfortably.

Through our Diversity Impact Assessments, we are able to make recommendations so that the design of the scheme works well for employees and the passengers using the stations.
