AmcoGiffen has more than 50-years’ experience and our capabilities include; civil and structural design, specialist mechanical and electrical skills, civil engineering, project delivery, reactive maintenance, emergency response services and signalling and telecoms with an in-house fabrication workshop based centrally on-site at our head office in Barnsley.
Operating out of 15 depots and 10 regional offices we provide national coverage and local strength for a range of clients such as; Network Rail, Highways England, Environment Agency, Canal & River Trust and local authorities.

AmcoGiffen has also signed up to science-based targets with the overall aim of eventually becoming carbon neutral. One of our recent successes was trialling a hybrid power solution on-site to reduce carbon emissions by 90%. This is now mandated on all relevant sites where practical.
We’re fully committed to promoting Network Rail’s SME Action Plan which aims to support businesses through greater collaborative working and engagement with Tier 1 contractors.
