Company overview
Established in 1998, Associated Utility Supplies Ltd (AUS) manufactures and distributes high-quality overhead line assemblies and components. With its 60-strong team, well-equipped manufacturing facility, and customer-focused approach, AUS is ideally placed to support the rail industry, helping organisations to source the right tools and equipment for their projects.
The Huddersfield-based firm builds strong relationships with these customers, providing training, expert advice, inspections, and repair services, long after products have been delivered. Thanks to its innovation and manufacturing facilities, it can also enhance existing products – or develop new solutions to challenging problems. In addition to OLE components and assemblies, AUS also supplies lifting equipment, fall arrest PPE, and construction tooling.
Serving the rail industry
AUS partners with major rail organisations (including Network Rail), supporting their build programmes from concept to completion. Whether these customers need pre-made assemblies or component items, they know they can rely on AUS’ dedicated OLE experts. And, thanks to the firm’s in-house manufacturing facilities and comprehensive stock portfolio, lead time remain low and prices competitive.
AUS offers:
- Industry knowledge: expert staff with decades of rail experience.
- Unrivalled product knowledge: both bespoke and off-the-shelf products.
- Personal service: advice, solutions, and problem-solving.
- Integrity and honesty: with a strong understanding of the rail industry, AUS’ dedicated experts never overpromise.
- Global sourcing: thanks to its global supply partners, AUS can support customers both in the UK and overseas.
