Train and rolling stock storage

Barrow Hill Roundhouse has been at the heart of the rail industry for over 150 years. Today, it is the UK’s only working railway roundhouse, with direct access to Network Rail and a 24/7 connection to the UK main line. Expertly renovated and incorporating new infrastructure and buildings, it offers high-quality facilities for a range of freight, passenger, and charter rail companies. Barrow Hill Roundhouse’s rail innovation centre is due to reach completion by 2025, with tenants arriving shortly afterwards.
