Eaton Electrical Products Limited

Eaton Electrical Products are manufacturers of DC-DC converters, including models specially designed and approved for use on railway rolling stock.

They are available in ranges from 15W to 1KW of output power and accept any of the usual traction supply voltages. These single and multi-output models are supplemented by a comprehensive custom-design service which includes full EMC and environmental type testing for train-borne use. Products recently introduced include AC-DC convertors for trackside applications, and DC-AC sinewave inverters for AC outlets and the supply of AC power on the train.
