The Great Western Electrification Programme

Mace Group Limited was appointed development and delivery partner for this transformational electrification project. Drawing on its considerable experience, and with a focus on environmental factors, the group:

• Lowered the track under 115 parapets and bridges, and for 1.83 miles inside the line’s Box Tunnel.
• Ensured lengthy programme delays were avoided thanks to stakeholder negotiations and expert planning.
