Ray Chapman Associates

Ray Chapman Associates play a role in the regional and international development of transport, with strong partnerships with stakeholders across the South Coast Mainline region.

The South Coast Mainline region has the following groups:

• East Sussex Rail Alliance (ESRA) – an umbrella group created to campaign for better rail services throughout the county. Focused on coastal services between Brighton and Ashford and into London.
• Bexhill Rail Action Group (BRAG) – the first major group, principally looking into the interests surrounding the East Coastway route to Brighton, Gatwick, and Victoria. It holds monthly meetings at the Hastings Direct offices, Collington.
• Southern East Coast Commuter Group – member of the East Sussex Rail Alliance with BRAG and SHRIMP.
• Marshlink Action Group –  includes Three Oaks and Winchelsea Action for Rail Transport (THWART) – campaigning for improved services between Hastings and Ashford.
• Ore Transport Group (O.T.G.) – a fledgling group, still being developed.

All groups feed into the national Railfuture campaign group.
